Valentines Day is the busiest time of year for any florist.
The tradition of giving flowers has been going strong for centuries and there is no sign of letting up. Everyone knows the expected colors in a V-Day bouquet are the usual suspects of red, pink and white.
Of course our creative floral design fairies also love incorporating other colors, shapes and flowers to bring something unexpected to a Valentines Day floral design. If you’re ordering flowers for your special someone you don’t have to feel obligated to choose the usual dozen roses.
If you feel like sticking with roses, put a new spin on the design by asking your florist for different vase options or over all design shape. Or try a shade other than red.
Try something new by asking for some pinks with pop colors or tropical flowers. Valentines designs don’t always have to include roses, in fact you may save some money by leaving them out of the design. The price of roses triples during the month of February, especially red, white and pink.
Thanks for visiting. We hope you found some inspiration for the upcoming holiday.
